Established in 2016 in Beruwala, Sri Lanka, TGL is a state-of-the-art gemological lab recognized for its scientific precision and international-standard services.
The lab focuses exclusively on colored-stone identification and certification, employing advanced equipment such as FTIR, LIBS, Raman spectroscopy, and ED-XRF, alongside high-resolution photography to ensure accurate and visually compelling gemstone reports.
Founded in 2016 by internationally recognized GIA-certified gemologist Dr. Kasun G. Madivila, the TourmalineLanka Gem Lab (TGL) has grown into one of Sri Lanka’s most trusted and technologically advanced gem testing laboratories.
